Manson

Community Description

When visiting the Lake Chelan area, the knowledgeable traveler always takes in Manson, located on the lake’s north shore about eight miles west of the city of Chelan. Manson enjoys a world-class view — not only of the lake itself but of the peaks that rise more than 7,000 feet across the way. The quaint downtown area is pedestrian friendly and features a unique mix of shops, restaurants, galleries, restaurants, and fruit packing sheds. You also will find several tasting rooms connected to the growing wine industry. Indeed, more than a dozen wineries are located in Manson and the immediate vicinity. Along the waterfront are two marinas — Manson Bay and Mill Bay — that attract boaters, sailors, kayakers and paddleboarders.
