The Port of Chelan County is committed to the successful operation and development of the Lake Chelan Airport, a municipal general aviation airport located 3 miles north east of the City of Chelan, accommodating an estimated 2,500 aircraft operations annually. This small airport is jointly owned by the Port of Chelan County and the City of Chelan and serves a community of approximately 6,500 people.

The primary air facility in the Lake Chelan Valley, the airport offers fuel, hangar space, aircraft parking (ramp or tie down) and a comfortable pilots lounge. Approximately 69 aircraft are based at the Chelan Airport, including single engine airplanes, multi-engine airplanes, helicopters and ultralights.
